I like the unglamorous half of the stack: the servers, pipelines and dashboards that decide whether a product actually stays up. I started by running a small homelab and never really stopped.
Day to day I write Python and Go, containerise everything, and wire it into Prometheus and Grafana so problems show up before users notice them.
I treat security as a default rather than a review step: least privilege, boring configuration, and logs that explain what happened when something goes wrong.
